Hilltop Ranch and Preserve is located in Dale County Alabama. Through extraordinary genetics, intense management, and an exceptional feeding program, we produce some very old and large whitetails. In addition, our turkey population is like no other in the State. One-on-one guide service is included on all hunts. Our guides are experienced hunters. They know whitetails, and they know our ranch. Lodging on Site
The Cabin
As your stay with us approaches we want to make sure all accommodations are made for a memorable trip. Our smoke-free cabin provides a full kitchen, dining room, separate guest rooms, full bathroom, and living area. All of the furnishings are up to date, and the decor is just what you would expect to find in a hunting retreat. Non-hunting guests are also welcome, and there are numerous non-hunting activities within and around the property. All meals, desserts, snacks, beverages, etc. are taken care of during your stay. Please let us know if you have any preferences or if there are any food allergies. The cabin is on the lake and features a large dock, fire pit, and outdoor games. Everything you need is provided for an incredible experience.

Property Attributes
At Hilltop, our property offers one of the most diverse landscapes in the Southeast. Our hunting area includes both free range and high fence hunting options. With property elevations varying from 350' to 130' the views are incredible. The terrain includes, rolling hills, uplands, hardwoods, drains, draws, sloughs, swamps, streams, creeks, valleys, and more. Our comfortable shooting houses and tree stands are strategically placed near managed food plots or heavily travelled trails and easily accessed by foot or side by side. Truly one of the most naturally beautiful properties there is.
Lake Emmy
We have a 10-acre stocked lake on the property. You are welcome to bring your own fishing pole or choose one from the selection we have on hand. We have plenty of options that we can provide over the duration of your trip. Game fish include largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish, and more. Fish from our expansive dock or venture out on one of our mini bass boats for a memorable fishing experience.
Recreation
For any shooting enthusiast, we have a sporting clay stand/range. We have ample shells in stock for your use. You can choose from one of our shotguns or feel free to bring your own. Options also exist for riding ATVs, canoeing, hiking, and horseback riding.
