Frequently Asked Questions

The Dothan Regional Airport, located in Dothan, Alabama, is approximately 20 minutes away from the ranch. All travel from the Dothan airport to the ranch and back is taken care of by us at no cost. There are additional airports in the area. Please get in touch with us for further travel information.

As is with any outfitter hunt, anyone hunting within your group will need a state hunting license. You should obtain a Non Resident/Hunting All Game license. Licenses can be purchased through  Hunting Recreational Licenses- Non-Resident | Outdoor Alabama.

This will take you to the online application and explain the fees and dates applicable. We are happy to assist as needed.

Temperatures during Gun Season can range from a low just above freezing to some unseasonably warm days near 60. Bow Season will be slightly warmer. We recommend packing clothes you can layer so that you can easily adapt to unpredictable weather. Rain gear is also recommended. 

Below are some items to consider for your trip:

• Firearm of choice for the specific game hunted. Though we do offer firearms and ammunition for use at an additional cost.
• Binoculars (optional but suggested).
• Shotgun for Skeet/Trap Range (unless you use one offered by us)
• Fishing pole (unless you use one offered by us).
• Appropriate camouflage including face mask/paint or net, hat and gloves.
